Ingredients
½cupfiltered water or distilled water(the minerals in tap water can contribute to build-up)
2tspwhite sugar(or more if needed - use the leftover sugar to make homemade body scrub)
2tbsphigh proof vodka(optional, rubbing alcohol will also work)
Instructions
To Make
Bring water to a boil.
Remove from heat and stir in 2 teaspoons of sugar. Keep stirring until the sugar dissolves.
Allow the mixture to cool completely. Add the vodka or rubbing alcohol (if using). then pour into a spray bottle with a fine mist nozzle (for example, an old hair spray bottle).
To Use
Shake well before every use. Apply a thin mist to dry hair.
Allow to dry before reapplying. Continue the process until desired hold is achieved. Store in the fridge and use within 1 week.
