Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker Review

I have a personal question for you. Dig deep now and be your most authentic self, okay? This is a safe place . . . you won’t be judged for saying the wrong thing. No, really. I’ll love you no matter what your answer is. Ready? Alright. Here goes:

If you could have only ONE ice cream for the rest of your life, would it be vanilla or chocolate?

Pick your favorite! Don’t worry, I’m not going to actually take away one of them. You can have ALL THE ICE CREAM!

Do you love homemade ice cream? Here are some great recipes to try out!

Unless you don’t have an ice cream maker, of course. If not, I recommend a Cuisanart 2-Quart Ice Cream, Sorbet & Frozen Yogurt Maker. It’s what I use to make treats for my precious littles.

What is your favorite homemade ice cream flavor?

  1. I think I would choose vanilla ice cream, by the way. In the past, I would have said chocolate, but vanilla is just more versatile. And a really good, quality vanilla is so rich and creamy….mmmm. 🙂

  13. As I read this post, I am actually eating (store-bought) ice cream with my boys. Chocolate all the way, baby! This is the exact ice cream maker that I’ve been trying to save up to buy so I can share some yummy homemade custard ice cream with my kids, just like I used to make with my parents when I was a kid.

  20. Vanilla, of course! Because it can easily become any other flavor! I would share my first batch with my adorable hubby of 18 years, our 16 and 13 yr old boys, and 11 yr old daughter. I have the best easiest recipe, too. I love your e-book DIY Cleaners. Just cleaned my toilet with lemony fresh — worked great, smells so good! Thanks!

  33. I took my kids to an antique store last week, and they saw a hand crank ice cream maker. We have not had ice cream in forever! We usually take frozen fruit and blend it in the blender as I have not had much luck with dairy free ice cream. I would love to get my kids and ice cream maker, so obviously my first batch would be shared with them. Pretty sure they would want chocolate.

  40. We fell in love with homemade ice cream when I had to go dairy free while nursing my fourth baby! I “won” a white elephant gift (hehe) of an ice cream maker and tried many different coconut milk recipes. Loved them! Then the ice cream maker died…boo. Now have toddler #5 (also dairy free) and baby #6 on the way. My family (especially my ice cream-addict-but- oh-so-very-picky-“it has to be natural” -husband) would go CRAZY for a new ice cream maker!!!

  43. It would have to be Goat Milk Ice Cream, the absolute BEST ice cream in the world and a life saver for my kids who could only do goat and sheep milk dairy – the ultimate! optional crowning glory is to toss in a crushed pecans, a bit of salt and shattered toffee crumbs and there we have i/c HEAVEN-SENT! This cheerful gadget would make it all go smoothly, that’s for certain! Thanks for the chance to be reminded of such splendid treats!
